A little panel from a Monkey Island comic I was working on ages ago. It was a test to practice on backgrounds and different lighting techniques.
The sunset was inspired by Thunderbirds comic artist Frank Bellamy. Though in his original there was a large ship in the way, so I added in the sun myself. Though maybe I should added more detail to the palm tree... or more shadow to Guybrush... Who knows..
Monkey Island belongs to Ron Gilbert and Lucas Arts
The original is tiny, it's the top panel of a piece of A5 paper. I had problems minor problems uploading it with the size, so its amazing it's come out so nice.
