We wouldn't have had anyone if not for him! He kept the show going.
He seems a bit like Eleven. He's brilliant, but also silly and panicky, and yet capable of being serious as well (also, bow ties are cool). And Two had some great companions, too. Zoe is one of my favorite companions of all time, and Jamie is also awesome.
I think Eleven does have a few good Troughton influences.
Oh, I love Zoe and Jamie. Two of my favourites. Just great bouncing them off each other. And I do have a soft spot for Victoria as well, even though she wasn't as strong a companion as Zoe
If you listen to Evil of the Daleks, you understand why she's like that. She is from the Victorian era and spends most of that story being captured. But she's just an unfortunate girl that happened to get caught up in a much wider scheme that isn't her fault and looses all her family the process. So in the story imediately afterward, Tomb of the Cybermen, the bit where it suddenly slows down and the Doctor gives a speech to comfort her is a really touching moment.
It was a touching moment even without that context, actually.
I have heard that Victoria actually adapts quickly to her surroundings and does some great things. I would really like to see that, but I haven't found anything else with her in it.
I love your answers I really like that you had a different Doctor from the Current three, you don't see many of these memes with classic Doctors.
DIGIMON WHO THE GREATEST CROSSOVER EVER IT MUST BE MADE!
Would you believe me if I said I actually came up with a vague outline of how that story could go?
And one of the main reasons I so love Matt Smith (besides him being crazy as hell) is that he is so very much like Troughton's Doctor. And not just the outfit- his attitude and how he acts with people reminds me of Two, and I love whenever he says "Quiet Amy" cause it sounds just like Troughton's "Quiet Jamie!"
I love Matt Smith so far. I hadn't noticed his attitude being like the 2nd Doctor's but I haven't seen as much of his stuff as I would like. I suppose its just another thing to like about him
Oh! Earthshock, most probably.
I generally just like Sixth Dr and Cyberman stories, as those are the things I'm interested in Doctor Who for. The rest is kinda peripheral to that, but what else I like is mostly here.
My favourite episode of his is Evil of the Daleks.
The new Doctors are so young, could be fun to get an older doc again.
But what I would like to see would be episodes with no monsters. Just time-travelling. How come there always are aliens in ancient times? Stories with just historical thingies can be interesting.
I really like the Matt Smith DW's probably why he appears so much in the Meme. I was geared up to be anti-Matt but he won me over by the first episode. There's a nice episode where they visit Van Gogh and they take time out to just relax and appreciate life, I loved it.
Oh, Van Gogh? I'm a fan of his. I should get intot he new episodes, but I have been reluctant to. Since I've been dreading what the new Doc is like.
